Who is COOD

“女明星私服” ("Celebrity On & Off Duties") is one of the most well-known fashion social media in China. COOD was founded by blogger Xiao Chen in June 2015. The original content of the weibo was to introduce celebrities’ off-duty styles. The unique and cutting-edge content quickly attracted a group of loyal fans who chases and buys fashion products. COOD’s followers grew organically during the first year. 24 months after being launched, COOD reached its first million fans. Today, COOD has been developed into an all-encompassing social media that provides exclusive fashion, luxury, entertainment and lifestyle news and insights. As of now, COOD owns a total of 7.1 million fans and continues to climb; a 300 million monthly impression is making it one of the most powerful influencers in the Chinese fashion industry. In 2019, COOD has been awarded “Top 3 Fashion Influencer” on Weibo.

“Ms_Xiao”, an offshoot of COOD, is Xiao Chen’s personal weibo that she engages and interacts with her fans. As a fashion, lifestyle and travel content creator, Xiao has been frequently invited to attend offline fashion events including Chanel, Prada, Miu Miu, Burberry, Tom Ford, Shopbop’s media events and parties in China. Besides, Xiao and her team has extensive network connections with fashion thinkers and doers, media experts and public relations specialists in China. By now, “Ms_Xiao” owns over 120K loyal fans on Weibo. Known for both her business and academic success, Xiao puts forward the image of the modern woman who can succeed in all aspects of life. In May 2019, Xiao moved to the United States with her family. She’s hoping to discover more quality overseas brands and spread them to her Chinese audience.
